Some comments on their "10 Tips for upping the pace".
1. Look further ahead - good but be carefull not to only look far ahead - too many riders cut corners by not planning the turn point.
2. Look where you want to go - same as above - should be combined
3. Target Fixation - is more really on how to avoid an accident not going faster.
4. Keep a level head - not really required - nice to do but not going to make you faster
5. Smooth - good
6. Keep throttle on - could have been included with smooth
7. Learn to love your rear brake - good except MORE important is overall braking skills - if you cannot slow or stop quickly do NOT ride quickly - should be 1 in this list. Also stated that "late braking on the track are one way of making a pass" - tis the main way but if you cannot brake late on a track then you will not have fast lap times.
8. Anticipate - again crash avoidance not going fast - also OK except why not slow down if there is a chance of an accident when travelling "at speed".
9. Its all about the line - NOT on the road it isn't when the width of your "track" is only about 1 metre wide - leave the track lines for the tracks.
10. Get more rider training - Good but ask around as they are not all created equal.
